Single
Among the seven hills is the smallest, its name derives from "vimina", the vinchiums, bushes and willow groves that grew here. According to the myth, was annexed to the city by the sixth king of Rome: Servio Tullio . From him take the name the ancient walls Serviane, which was part of Porta Viminalis, erected in defense of the hill; some of remains are still in piazza dei Cinquecento in a small garden to the left of Termini Station. The most important street in the neighborhood was the VicusLongus, the current Via Nazionale where, in front of the Palazzo delle Esposizioni, our hotel stands today.
